Services Held for Joe Muckendorfer

Joseph H. Muckendorfer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Muckendorfer was born February 16, 1896 in Dodge, Nebraska. He was baptized March 29, 1896 in Tabor, Nebraska and passed away in the Dodge County Hospital September 4, 1968 after an illness of three months.

He married the former Agnes Gutch on February 21, 1944 who survives. Other survivors inclued Joe. Jr. of Sherwood, Oregon; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Ara) Allan of North Bend and three grandsons.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Moser Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Mrs. Audrey Scott officiating. Soloist was Miss Carole Scott.

Pallbearers were Harold Pople, Council Bluffs, Iowa; Ted Blatny, Aaron Allan, Leon Semrad, Bill Lambrecht and Leonard Tomasek of North Bend.

Interment was in Woodland Cemetery.

Joe married Agnes Beznoska on 21 Feb 1944 in Marysville, Marshall County, Kansas. Agnes (daughter of Frantisek "Frank" Beznoska, Jr. and Karolina "Caroline" Datel) was born on 3 Apr 1898 in Morse Bluff, Saunders County, Nebraska; died on 10 May 1981 in Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska.
