    Letha 'Billie' McMinn

    Letha B. 'Billie' McMinn, 78, of Abilene died Monday in a local hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 542 Hickory, with the Rev. Rickie Rister officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. Mrs. McMinn was born in San Augustine County and grew up near Nacogdoches. She was a seamstress for T.S. Langford & Son for 20 years and was a certified aide and private duty nurse. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Ray McMinn of Telephone and Jack McMinn, Jr. of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one daughter, Glenda May Zorn of Abilene; one sister, Ethel Rogers of San Angelo; one brother, G. B. Scarbrough of Clyde; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

    Letha married Jack Harold McMinn before 1934. Jack (son of John Oliver McMinn and Susan Marguerite Trawick) was born on 1 Aug 1911 in Ada, Pontotoc County, Oklahoma; died on 9 Mar 1993 in Abilene, Taylor County, Texas. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
