    Death Takes Lottie Kubik

    Mrs. Lottie Kubik, 73, of 912 Elm, owner and operator of the Lottie K Shop in Duncan since 1956, died in a local hospital at 5 am today following a brief illness.

    Born May 28, 1895, at Cordell, Mrs. Kubik had been a resident of Duncan since 1921 moving here from Pampa, Texas.

    She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Her husband, Joe, died in 1958. A son Roderick died in 1965, in Duncan.

    Survivors include two sons Amos, 221 N Eleventh and Dale, Kenniwick, Washington.

    Service will be at 2 pm Wednesday in Don Grantham Funeral Chapel with the Rev. T Hollis Epton, pastor First Baptist, officiating. Burial will be in Duncan Cemetery under direction of Don Grantham funeral Home.

    Lottie married Joseph Kubik after 1915. Joseph was born on 27 Nov 1879 in Scottsbluff, Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska; died on 20 Dec 1957 in Duncan, Stephens County, Oklahoma; was buried in Duncan Municipal Cemetery, Duncan, Stephens County, Oklahoma. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
