CLEFFA McLEMORE, 83, homemaker
Funeral for Cleffa McLemore, 83, of Decatur will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Rev. David McKelvey officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mrs. McLemore died Sunday at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Cleffa Robinson on November 30, 1910, in Dallas.

A longtime Decatur resident, she was a member of Central Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Harold McLemore Sr of Decatur, one sister, Elizabeth McLemore of Decatur; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Jay Roberts, Ben Robinson, Charles Black, Dempsey McLemore, Alvis McLemore and Bob Clements.

Charlie's first marriage on 16 Jan 1906 was to Lela Reid in Giles County TN. She was the daughter of Albert Macklin Reid and Mary Virginia Christopher.

Their children: Alvin; Cleffa Belle Robinson-McLemore; Elizabeth Robinson-McLemore; and Bruce Reid Robinson.

(Note that three youngest changed the spelling of their surname to "Robinson").

Charlie's second marriage was to Clara Brown about 1925.

Their children: Margaret; Frank; Elton; and Larry Roberson.

Charles married Lela Reid. Lela was born on 22 Sep 1889 in Limestone County, Alabama; died on 31 Dec 1923 in Limestone County, Alabama; was buried in Round Island Baptist Church Cemetery, Limestone County, Alabama. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
