What source do you have for the maiden name of Amelia Grappe married to Nicholas Marion Jacks? Everyone I have seen except you has her last name as Grubb. If this is incorrect, I would like to know and know the source of your information. Thanks for your help.

Amelia married Nicholas Marion Jacks in Louisiana. Nicholas was born on 5 May 1784 in Tennessee; died on 5 Jan 1851 in Texas; was buried in John Smith Cemetery, Sabine County, Texas. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

1. Nicholas Jacks, Jr. was born on 2 Oct 1816 in Louisiana; died about 1867 in Texas.
2. Andrew Jackson Jacks was born about 1818 in Louisiana; and died.
3. Louisiana Jacks was born on 12 Mar 1826 in Sabine Parish, Louisiana; died on 18 Nov 1888 in San Augustine County, Texas; was buried in Wood Cemetery, San Augustine County, Texas.
4. Gaines Jacks was born about 1832 in Louisiana; and died.
5. Elizabeth Jacks was born about 1835 in Louisiana; and died.
