    Notes:

    Casagranda notes she is LIKELY a daughter of Claiborne P. Waldroup, also of Sabine Parish. James and Martha are not listed on the 1860 Sabine Parish census.Howard Waldrop notes it was actually her husband, James, who was a son of Claiborne Parrish and Mary Ann Waldrop. Paula Jones confirms this, and shows that Martha was the daughter of James D. Waldrop and Sarah Rigsby.

    Martha married James Waldrop on 1 Oct 1846 in Sabine Parish, Louisiana. James (son of Claiborne Parrish Waldrop and Mary Ann Bowlin) was born about 1826 in Kentucky; died on 12 Jan 1891 in Texas. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
