Archie Ezzell

Notes:

Archie appears to have been married twice. His first marriage was to a Nellie, sometime before 1913. He and Nellie had five children, Abbie, Elbert, Clara, Ira, and Archie Jr. It appears that Nellie and Clara may have died between 1920 and 1930. In 1926, Archie married Margie McLemore, some eight years his senior.

He d. 8 Apr 1952 in Kerr, Sampson, North Carolina, USA and bur. 10 Apr 1952 in Kerr, Sampson, North Carolina, USA. His parents are Arthur & Narcissus (Chestnutt) Ezzell. Archie married Margie Emma McLemore before 1930. Margie (daughter of David Alderman McLemore and Margaret "Maggie" Penelope Hall) was born on 11 Nov 1882 in Sampson County, North Carolina; died on 23 Mar 1967; was buried in Fryar Cemetery, Newtons Crossroads, Sampson County, North Carolina. In looking at the 1930 census, it appears that Margie married Archie when she was 44, which would make the year of their marriage approximately 1926. Archie was the father of five children at the time of their marriage, and had previously been married to a "Nellie."
