Mary Evelyn Morgan Aarant, 92, of Jasper died Jan. 20 at Nacogdoches Medical Center.

Services were held Jan. 22 at Forest Oaks Funeral Home in Jasper, with burial at Homer Cemetery.

A native Jasper she was avid quilter and gardener.

Survivors include son, Wilmer Morgan of Silsbee; daughters, Wanda Morgan of Nacogdoches; and Teressa Bailey of Jasper; step-son James Aarant of Tyler; stepdaughter, Virginia Martindale of Jasper; brother, William Barrow of Jasper; six grandchildren, ten greatgrandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild
