Elizabeth probably died prior to 1870, as of the time of that census, their three year old daughter, Mary, was living with Elizabeth's parents without her parents. Richard may also have died, or he might have been the 28 year old Richard J. Willams, a wagoner, that was living in the home of Stephen Williams.
