    Notes:

QUINN Sidney Paul Quinn passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. He was 81 years old. Mr. Quinn was born in Sturgis, MS to the late Grady and Lucine Quinn, joining his brother, the late James Quinn. As a young man, Mr. Quinn moved to New Orleans to be among his mother's extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. It was in New Orleans that he met and married the love of his life, Mrs. Patricia Ann Quinn. Over the course of his 55 years of marriage to Patricia, Mr. Quinn's life was enriched by the lives of his children; Pamela, Cynthia, Mary, Kathy and Michael. Counting the many blessings of his family, he would often remark "I'm the richest man in the world." Mr. Quinn dearly loved each of his children's spouses; Jorge, Todd, Jon, Tony and Michele. His ten grandchildren and 1 great grandchild were a great source of pride and joy; Joshua, Amanda, Christopher, Heather, Alexander, Quinn, Jonathan, Avery, Kirby, Abigail and little Jack. In the final years of his life, Mr. Quinn never missed an opportunity to express his gratitude to those who cared for him and about him. He endured nearly six painful years without complaint or regret. He was fortified by simple things; phone calls from cousins, friends and laughter with everyone who visited. Mr. Quinn was heartened by the wonderful care he received from Notre Dame Hospice. He was deeply touched by the constant stream of support from the St. Anselm Church community. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial Mass on Monday, March 10, 2014 at 11 am at St. Anselm Catholic Church, 306 St. Mary St, Madisonville, LA 70447. Visitation will be held from 10 am until service time. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Covington, LA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in memory of Sidney P. Quinn be made to Notre Dame Hospice or the St. Anselm Building Fund. Please sign the online Guest Book at www.ejfieldingfh.com.
