Their marriage took place in Southampton County on June 6, 1855, the Rev. M.A. Longhorn presiding. They had three children: Latinus J. and Robert, both of whom died young (one in a hunting accident), neither ever marrying or producing issue; and Alice M. McLemore, born in 1859, who married Frank A. Jones at Branchville on February 25, 1886.
