BROKEN BOW ? Zellamarie "Jo" Stych, 90, of Broken Bow died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014, at Golden Living Center in Broken Bow.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Broken Bow with Kathy Salts officiating. Inurnment will be at Ansley Cemetery.

A register book will be available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Govier Bros. Mortuary in Broken Bow.

She was born Feb. 14, 1924, in Ansley to Vern and Louise (Kaelin) Hayes.

On Feb. 24, 1946, she married Henry Stych in Ansley. He died in December 2007.

Survivors include her son, Rex of Broken Bow; daughter, Janice Martin of Beatrice; brother, Ralph Hayes of Granby, Colo.; sisters, Reva Skeen and Pearl Plambeck, both of Broken Bow, and Elaine Hanshew of Ansley; one grandson; and two great-grandchildren.

Zellamarie married Henry "Hank" Stych on 24 Feb 1946. Henry (son of Vaclav "James" Stych, Sr. and Albina Matejka) was born on 31 Aug 1919 in Fillmore County, Nebraska; died on 2 Dec 2007 in Broken Bow, Custer County, Nebraska; was buried in Ansley Cemetery, Ansley, Custer County, Nebraska.
