Vyron E. Beutler, Kingston, Died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2006, at Marlette Community Hospital-Hospice House, at the age of 95. Mr. Beutler had lived in the Kingston area since 1980 and was previously from West Bloomfield. He was born Aug. 19, 1911 in Drake, ND, son to the late Fredrick and Ella (Laack) Beutler. He married Margaret Klinkman March 16, 1940, in Ohio. Mr. Beutler worked as a foreman for General Motors Truck and Coach Division in Pontiac for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed woodworking, repairing whatever needed to be repaired, spending winters with his wife in Bradenton, FL and most of all his family. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Margaret Mary Klinkman Beutler of Kingston; son, Ronald and Sharon Beutler of Kingston; daughter, Janet and Harmon Beaty of Hartland; son, Eugene and Phyllis Beutler of Kingston; sister, Grace Hyatt White of Cass City; brother, Wayne Beutler of Zephyrhills, FL; sister-in-law, Laura Dale of Marlette; brother-in-law, Wilfred Klinkman of Smith Creek; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Phyllis Stockwell, Arlene Wudarski and brother, Frank (Bud) Beutler. Funeral service was held Tuesday, Sept. 26 at 11 a.m. at Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette, with Pastor Kenneth Sandefur officiating. Burial was in Elkland Cemetery in Cass City. Margaret M. Beutler, Kingston, MI~ Passed away peacefully Friday, Sept. 12, 2008 at Marlette Hospice Residence, at the age of 91. Mrs. Beutler had lived in Kingston since 1980 and was previously from the West Bloomfield area. She was born Feb. 17, 1917 in Decker, daughter to the late Orton and Catherine (Schwagler) Klinkman. She married Vyron E. Beutler March 16, 1940 in Ohio. He preceded her in death Sept. 24, 2006. Margaret and her late husband sold produce at the Oakland Co. Farmers Market for many years. She enjoyed painting, crocheting, cooking, gardening and most of all, her family. She is survived by sons, Ronald (Sharon) Beutler of Kingston and Eugene (Phyllis) Beutler, also of Kingston; daughter, Janet (Harmon) Beaty of Hartland; brother, Wilford Klinkman of Smith Creek; sister, Laura Dale of Marlette; sister-in-law, Jackie MacAlpine of Argyle; seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Charles Klinkman and sister, Louise Agar. Funeral service will be held Monday, Sept. 15 at 1 p.m. in Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette, with Pastor Len Wyatt officiating. Burial will be in Elkland Cemetery in Cass City. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-7 p.m. at Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette. Memorials may be made to the donation of choice. Tuscola County Advertiser 9-13-08

Orton T. Klinkman, 74, died Tuesday, September 12 after a long illness.

Son of the late Otto and Mae Klinkman, he was born February 10, 1887 in Lancaster, New York and moved to Cass City as a small boy.

He married Catherine Schwegler in Caro, March 11, 1914, and the couple continued to live in Cass City for three years, after which they moved to their present farm residence near Decker.

Besides his wife, Mr. Klinkman is survived by five children, Mrs. Roy AGAR and Mrs. Donald DALE of Marlette, Mrs. Vyron BEUTLER of Pontiac, Wilfred of Smiths Creek and Charles, at home, 11 grandchildren and three brothers, Howard of Jackson, Charles of Dearborn and Arthur of Cass City.

Funeral services were held Friday, September 15, at the Decker Methodist Church. The Rev. Joseph Shaw officiated. Burial was in Elkland cemetery, Cass City.

Final Services Held for Mrs. Klinkman

Final services were held Tuesday at the Decker Methodist Church for Mrs. Catherine Klinkman, 68, Lamotte township. Mrs. Klinkman died Saturday, April 21, at the Marlette Community Hospital after a brief illness.

Born Jun 8, 1833 (sic), in Cass City, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew SCHWEGLER.

She married Orton Klinkman on March 11, 1914 in Caro. The couple moved to a farm southeast of Decker. Mr. Klinkman died October 12, 1961.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Roy AGAR, and Mrs. Donald DALE, both of Marlette, and Mrs. Vyron BEUTLER, Pontiac, and two sons, Wilfred Klinkman, Smiths Creek, Michigan, and Charles Klinkman, Decker. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren.

Rev. Joseph Shaw, Decker Methodist Church, and Rev. Lester Nelson, Pilgrim Holiness Church, Kingston, officiated at the services. Interment was in Elkland Cemetery, Cass City.
