    Letitia Emadine Edgar

    Letitia Emadine Edgar Skinnell Edgar, 86, died Monday, Feb. 8. 2010, in the Baylor Hospital in Dallas. She was born on Sept. 18, 1923 in Marshall. Mrs. Edgar lived most of her life in Sabine County.

    She is survived by sons, Jack Edgar and wife, Juanita of El Paso, and George Edgar and wife Sharon of Hemphill; daughters, Letitia Ann Britain of Rockwall, and Ruth Walker and husband Bob of El Paso; 13 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

    She was preceded in death by her husbands J. W. Smith and J. D. "Dempsey" Edgar; son Rear Admiral Robert Wayne Smith, grandson, Darren Edgar, and granddaughter, Kim Sanders.

    Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 12, in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in the Oakhill Cemetery, Hemphill.
