Chad Emanuel Jordan, 58, of Pineland, Texas passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at his residence in Pineland.

Chad was born in Hemphill, Texas on October 29, 1962 to Emanuel Jordan and Patsy Sue Brown Jordan. Chad was a lifelong resident of Pineland and a graduate of West Sabine High School. He worked as a sharp chain operator for more than 30 years for Temple Inland/Georgia Pacific in Pineland.

Chad was a well known and respected member of his community and enjoyed his numerous hobbies. Among them were restoring, building, and racing cars, fishing, and flying power parachute planes.

Chad is survived by his wife of 33 years, Echo Jordan of Pineland; parents, Emanuel and Pat Jordan of Pineland; son, Cody Jordan and wife, Andrea, of Hemphill; brother, Shayne Jordan and wife, Brenda, of Houston; sisters, Kimberly Stephenson and husband, Gary, of Hudson and Candace Hendrix and husband, Gee, of Pineland; grandchildren Braeden and Bryson; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 29, 2021 in Pineland Cemetery under the direction of Starr Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers are Tim Cunningham, Todd Malone, Scott Hardy, Kevin Woods, Mark Wright, and Robert Mitchell.

Chad's family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Olive Branch Hospice, 2051 S Wheeler St Suite E, Jasper, TX 75951 or an animal shelter of your choice.
