Edward J. Keller, 77, of Lincoln, formerly of rural Hallam, Crete & Hickman, passed away Saturday (8/28/10). He was born on August 7, 1933 in Beatrice, Neb. to Ed and Olga (Chrastil) Keller. Edward graduated from Crete High School in 1953, and married Marlene Kubicek in Crete on June 11, 1960. He was a barber at Royal Barbershop in Havelock for 29 years. Edward retired from the University of Nebraska Building Maintenance after 31 years.

Survivors: Wife of 50 years, Marlene, Lincoln; Daughter & Son-in-law, Jeriann and Dennis Heuke, Lincoln; Grandson, Christian Heuke, Lincoln; Brothers & Sisters-in-law: Benjamin and Marjorie Keller, Lincoln; Charles and Mary Jean Keller, Wilber; Brother-in-law & Sister-in-law: Marvin and Lila Kubicek, Gering; Many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Preceded in death by: Parents, infant son, Thomas W. Keller, mother-in-law, Henrietta Kubicek & father-in-law, Milo Kubicek.

Funeral Services 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th St. Visitation Tuesday, 4-8 p.m., with the family greeting friends from 6:30-8 p.m., all at the funeral home.
