Mrs. E. Striffler, Lockport Native, Succombs in LMH
Mrs. Edith M. Striffler, an 89 year-old native of Lockport, died Monday at Lockport Memorial Hospital following a four-month illness.
She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church and the Myrtle Rebecca Lodge.
Her husband, Roy C., died in 1962. She was also the mother of the late Lois S. Whitmore.
Survivors include one granddaughter, Mrs. Richard Knapp, Newfanep one grandson, Hulbert C. Whitmore, Lockport; two great granddaughters, Kathy Jean and Pamelia Knapp.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m., today, and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, at the Gaul Funeral Home, Inc., 263 East Ave., Lockport. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, from Grace Episcopal Church, with the Very Rev. L. Russell Foster Officiating. Burial will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
