On the 1900 Jackson County, Mississippi Federal Census, Wesley Gupton is head of household living with wife Rena (b. March 1877, age 23, Married 8 years, mother of 2 children, both living). This would put the year of her marriage around 1892, at age 15. Wesley was a farmer, and his wife and both daughters were listed as farm laborers.

It is assumed she is the stepmother of Mary (born 1884) and Vernon (born 1890)...and those MAY be the two living children she is shown as the mother of on the 1900 census.

Family Search shows Wesley Woodford Gupton as a son of William Wesley Gupton and Flora Patterson.

Wesley married Clara Drucilla McCaa. Clara was born about 1859 in Union Church, Jefferson County, Mississippi; died about 1891 in Union Church, Jefferson County, Mississippi. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

They are shown as the parents of 9 children in total, Clara being the fifth born.
