Probably an ancestor of Ernest Edward Lord, born Dec. 5, 1926 in Geneva, Sabine County, Texas to Ernest Melton Lord and Ethel Jones. He served in World War II and worked for Lufkin Industries for 41 years as production manager. He was survived by his wife of 57 years, Norma Lord of Etoile, son Jack Edward Lord of Virginia, Son James Frederick; three grandchildren; sister Irene Johnston of Etoile and brother Melton Lord of Huntington. Ernest married Clara Pearl Chambers about 1903. Clara (daughter of Nathaniel Berrian Chambers and Margaret "Mittie" Louisa Bennett) was born on 18 Feb 1884 in Time, Sabine County, Texas; died on 30 Jan 1979 in San Augustine County, Texas; was buried in New Hope Cemetery, Milam, Sabine County, Texas.
