Hannah Pinkney Deweese

Notes:

She was the daughter of John T. b Oct 18, 1819, d Mar 10, 1878, and Sarah Deweese, b Aug 5, 1829, d Jan 3, 1888. (White and Toole, p 74).

On the 1900 Sabine County census, Hanna was the head of household after the death of her husband the prior year. She was running the family farm. By 1910, her oldest three children had left home. Sons James, Clyde and Thomas still lived at home, but only Clyde worked on the farm. James was a merchant, running a department store. Thomas was listed as a hack driver.

In 1900, two servant (John Duffee and Chas. Smiley) were living with the Fullers, as well as a boarder, Edward Watson, age 32 born in Texas. All three did Farm Labor.

Living with the Fuller's in 1910 was a 23 year old boarder named Moses Cole. He was a farm laborer and did odd jobs.

Her Texas Death certificate, viewable online at FamilySearch.org, Texas Deaths, 1890-1976, does not list her parents.

Hannah married James Easter "Bud" Fuller on 5 Dec 1877 in Sabine County, Texas. James (son of John Brooks Fuller and Mary A. Watson) was born on 10 Jan 1856 in Georgia; died on 17 Sep 1898 in Sabine County, Texas. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

2. Sarah Pearl Fuller was born on 13 Nov 1881 in Hemphill, Sabine County, Texas; died on 18 Jan 1957 in Harris County, Texas; was buried in Hemphill City Cemetery, Hemphill, Sabine County, Texas.
3. John Sidney Fuller was born on 28 Apr 1883 in Texas; died on 28 Mar 1945 in Sabine County, Texas; was buried in Meador Cemetery, Milam, Sabine County, Texas.
4. James Deweese Fuller was born on 29 Jul 1885 in Texas; died on 14 Oct 1953 in Texas.
5. Clyde Webster Fuller was born on 15 Jul 1890 in Texas; died on 20 Jul 1961 in Sabine County, Texas.
6. Thomas Graydon Fuller was born on 7 Nov 1892 in Texas; died on 7 Aug 1969 in Sabine County, Texas.
