However, he notes that one of his daughter's tombstone indicates father as John Allen more research to be done in this area. Connee Kroeger (clbkroeger@aol.com) cannot confirm first name of John, many records indicate that he was known as William Allen. She may have been born in Mississippi versus Louisiana.
