    Notes:

    The daughter of Rosie DUSIL and Joseph A. PROKOP. Frances was the oldest of eight children, one of whom died in infancy. She had four brother and three sisters. The family lived in a dugout on Turkey Creek near Wilber, near some non-hostile Indians. She and her sister and a teacher were caught in the blizzard of 1888. They followed a fence to her grandparents' home where they stayed for several days. (Milligan, p 289).

    Frances married Joseph M. Hass on 1 Mar 1892. Joseph was born on 9 Aug 1869 in Bohemia; died on 20 Jun 1943 in Wilber, Saline County, Nebraska; was buried in Jun 1943 in Big Blue Cemetery (Bohemian National Cemetery), Saline County, Nebraska. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
