Mary married Josef F. "Joseph" Rohla about 1893. Josef was born on 22 May 1866 in Bohemia; died on 28 May 1943 in Nebraska; was buried in Bohemian National Cemetery (Milligan South), Milligan, Fillmore County, Nebraska. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Married:
They had six sons and one daughter, but only five of the sons can currently be accounted for. (Milligan, p 325).

1. Frank B. Rohla was born on 1 May 1893; died in May 1970 in Geneva, Fillmore County, Nebraska.
2. Anton Rohla was born about 1895.
3. Joseph F. Rohla was born on 15 Jul 1896 in Nebraska; died on 17 May 1899 in Nebraska.
4. James T. Rohla was born on 8 Feb 1898 in Nebraska; died in Apr 1967 in Geneva, Fillmore County, Nebraska.
5. Henry B. Rohla was born on 17 Dec 1903 in Nebraska; died on 20 Mar 1984 in Milligan, Fillmore County, Nebraska; was buried in Bohemian National Cemetery (Milligan South), Milligan, Fillmore County, Nebraska.
6. Libbie L. Rohla was born on 6 Mar 1906 in Nebraska; died in Dec 1994 in Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska.

Notes:

Came to the United States in 1867*, originally settling in Chicago. They later homesteaded in Fillmore County, Nebraska. His homestead was the W 1/2 SE 1/4 of Section 10, Glengary Township on 17 October 1870, for which he received the patent on 16 May 1878. Josef use to work in Nebraska City and would walk there and back, often carrying home a 50-pound sack of flour. (Milligan, p. 324).

*May have come later than this, as daughter, Mary, born in 1868 was shown on census records as having been born in Bohemia.
