After completing his military service, he returned to Milligan and he and Elaine purchased the A-C Bar from Agnes KRUPICKA STOLZENBURG, which they renamed Ron's Tavern. Ron farms, does dirt moving work, and engine repair. Elaine runs the tavern. (Millligan, p 346).

Joseph was a laborer for the railroad.
