Dorothy M. Pocklington age 95 of Algonac, MI. died March 9, 2008 in her home. She was born April 7, 1912 in Hamtramck, MI.

Mrs. Pocklington was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Algonac.

Survived by children Janice Pocklington, Ann Avers, Joann (Max) Mohr, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces.

Funeral services 1:00 PM Friday March 14, 2008 in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac with Pastor Dennis Irish of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Algonac, officiating. Visitation 6-9 PM Thursday. Entombment will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Algonac.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church, Algonac, MI.

Dorothy married Harold Lee Pocklington, Jr. before 1935. Harold (son of Harold Lee Pocklington, Sr. and Clara Viola Lenzner) was born on 11 Jun 1910 in Michigan; died on 23 Jun 1986 in Ira, St. Clair County, Michigan; was buried in Oaklawn Cemetery, Algonac, St. Clair County, Michigan.
