Notes:

At first they lived near Poultney, Vermont. In 1824 they removed to Ohio and settled in Bloomfield Township, Knox County, about three miles west of Sparta. About 1847 they moved to Taylor Township, Ogle County, Illinois, and later to a farm further east and south of Washington Grove, where they spent the remainder of their lives.
