    Notes:

Katherine Friestat shows him as a son of John Franklin White. His date of birth and death is from her tree at the RootsWeb's WorldConnect Project. However, these can not be verified, on either the SSDI or in the Texas Death Index, so it is possible they are not accurate. They should be verified through an immediate family member, obituary, or official record. Friestat's online tree also shows that John David White was married several times, both prior to and after, his marriage to Mary Elizabeth Smith. He is said to be buried at Resthaven Cemetery. The "Lawrence-Clinton" tree on Ancestry.com also show his father as John Franklin White, and lists his mother as well, Mary Ann Reddell. The same DOB is listed, 14 Dec 1914 in Collin County, TX. The date of death, varies somewhat, showing 1 March 1993, but I am still unable to find him on the SSDI with that year of birth.

There is, however, a John D. White, born 14 Dec 1914 and died Mar 1992 on the SSDI. Additionally, the Texas Death index has a listing for a John White, date of death 13 Mar 1992, Dallas County, Texas.

John married Mary Elizabeth Smith before 1938. Mary (daughter of Bryan Jay Smith, Sr. and Mittie Drucella Martin) was born on 17 Nov 1920 in Sabine County, Texas; died on 27 Mar 2010 in Grand Prairie, Dallas County, Texas; was buried in Oak Grove Memorial Cemetery, Irving, Dallas County, Texas.
