    Married:
    After their marriage, Anton and Marie moved into a new frame house on the parents' farmstead. In 1895 they bought the SW 1/4 of Section 23 in Madison Township for $10,000. It ws a very modern farmstead for its day, the barn, corncrib and hog house still stand. The couple had two children that died as infants, both of whom are buried in the Kasak Cemetery. After two of their school age children, Anna and Charles died on the same day due to contracting diptheria from eating creek ice, Anton sold the farm to Joe Domling. He did not want to live there any longer. The family then bought the NW 1/4 of Section 19 in Liberty Township, living there for the rest of their lives. (Milligan, p 193).

    3. Katherine Becwar was born on 11 Nov 1890 in Fillmore County, Nebraska; died on 8 Jan 1988 in Fairmont, Fillmore County, Nebraska.
    4. Anna Becwar was born on 12 Jul 1892 in Fillmore County, Nebraska; died on 9 Jul 1902 in Madison Township, Fillmore County, Nebraska.
    5. Antonia Becwar was born in Aug 1892 in Fillmore County, Nebraska; and died.
    6. Josephine Becwar was born on 17 Mar 1896 in Fillmore County, Nebraska; died in May 1983 in Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada.

    Notes:

    Frank was married twice. He had seven children by his first wife, Mary Kroupa, and married a second time to Josefa Marc. Frank and Josefa, along with his children from his first marriage, came to America in 1881. They purchased the NW 1/4 of Section 29 in Liberty Township from William Hart for $1600 on June 28, 1881. The Kansas City and Omaha Railroad Company purchased a strip of land 100 feet wide through the northeast corner of this quarter on March 28, 1887, paying them $142. The railroad was built on this strip from McCool Junction to Fairbury.

    Frank Bures had a brother, Vaclav, and three sisters who came to America. Marie who was married to Victor HRANAC; Anna, who was married to Frank KUCERA, and after his death she married Matej VOTIPKA and Josie, who was married to John BARNAS, and after his death to Frank PROKOP.
