  1. 1.  William Thomas Arnold was born on 17 Mar 1853 in Georgia; died on 6 Aug 1912 in Sabine County, Texas; was buried in Myrtle Springs Cemetery, Geneva, Sabine County, Texas.

    Notes:

On her annotated transcription of the Myrtle Springs Cemetery, Kay Parker McCary notes that he was a son of James Martin Arnold and Nancy Terry, and shared a double tombstone with Susan Lucinda Halbert. Thought by some to be the grandson of James Bailey Arnold and Malinda Sparks, and therefore a nephew of William B. Arnold, the husband of Martha Bostwick and a first cousin to the other William Thomas Arnold living in Sabine County at this same time period. The other William Thomas Arnold was born in 1845 in Georgia, and married an Alford. He was instead listed as Henry Thomas Arnold on the death certificate of his youngest daughter, Sibyl Arnold Behymer.
