Cryptside services for Gerald E. Furman, 60, at Fresno will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Fresno Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Furman died Saturday. He retired from the Air Force after 20 years and and from the Fresno Unified School District.

Surviving are his wfie, Evelyn; two sons, Thomas R. FURMAN of Florida and Clayton EVANS of Texas; four daughters, Connie D. HAYES and Theresa PATRICK, both of Florida, Cyndi ROCHA of Riverdale and Jean LEARY of Fresno; two brothers, Albert and George, both of Florida; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Bucheim Family Palm Colonial Chapel.

Gerald married Evelyn Maxine "Tex" Boyett after 1957. Evelyn (daughter of Robert Edgar Boyett and Clarissa L. Abi Conn) was born on 8 Jul 1916 in Sabine County, Texas; died on 30 Nov 1994 in Fresno County, California; was buried in Fresno Memorial Gardens, Fresno, Fresno County, California.
