Ancestry.com links her to the Anna Hruby, enumerated in Valley County, (and later Custer County) Nebraska 1900, 1910, and 1920. Dates of birth don't seem to match however, as the 1900 census shows Anna Hruby was born in April 1899. Additionally, if Joseph and Richard were her sons, she would have been enumerated with Joseph Maresh and those sons in 1920. It might be Joseph and Richard were born to a previous wife?

Bob Nohavec shows that Anna was actually Anna BETKOVA, the daughter of Vaclav BETKA and Elizabeth ROHACEK. Althought the 1930 census shows her as born in Nebraska, Bob instead lists her place of birth as Rounice, and shows she emigrated in 1908.

Anna married Josef "Joseph" Maresh on 29 Sep 1913. Josef was born on 17 Mar 1880 in Bohemia; died on 3 Jan 1956 in Milligan, Fillmore County, Nebraska; was buried in Bohemian National Cemetery (Milligan South), Milligan, Fillmore County, Nebraska. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

1. Joseph F. Maresh was born on 6 Oct 1914 in Milligan, Fillmore County, Nebraska; died on 3 Nov 1974 in Friend, Saline County, Nebraska; was buried in Bohemian National Cemetery (Milligan South), Milligan, Fillmore County, Nebraska.
2. Edward M. Maresh was born on 24 Feb 1916 in Nebraska; died on 27 Apr 1983 in Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska; was buried in Lincoln Memorial Park, Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska.
3. Richard H. "Dick" Maresh was born on 8 Sep 1917 in Nebraska; died on 10 Nov 2004 in Geneva, Fillmore County, Nebraska; was buried in Bohemian National Cemetery (Milligan South), Milligan, Fillmore County, Nebraska.
4. Ellsworth E. "Al" Maresh was born on 24 Aug 1926 in Nebraska; died on 1 Feb 1999 in Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska; was buried in Bohemian National Cemetery (Milligan South), Milligan, Fillmore County, Nebraska.
