    Willie Jordan Drawhorn, 95, of Beaumont died Thursday, May 18, 1995, in Beaumont.

    A longtime resident of Beaumont, Mrs. Drawhorn was a native of San Augustine County and had formerly resided in the Bronson area.

    Survivors: a daughter, Helen Hines of Raywood; a son, Maurice Edward Drawhorn of Beaumont; eight grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.

    Graveside rites were held at 1 p.m. Monday at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Beaumont.

    Services were handled by L. M. Williams and Sons Funeral Directors in Beaumont.

    Dickie J. Sims emailed that "John Smith Forse owned a sawmill which could be hauled in two or three wagons. It took at least three men to run the sawmill. They didn't have a way to haul big logs to the mill except by oxen, so it was normal practice to haul the mill where the timber was. "
