    Autumn Weddings
    Armstrong-Crocker

    At a beautiful home wedding, solemnized before members of the immediate families at three o'clock Saturday afternoon, October 30, Miss Julia Crocker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Crocker, of Cass City spoke her vows to Mr. Norman Armstrong, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Armstrong of Bad Axe.

    Rev. R. N. Holsaple, pastor of the local Evangelical church, officiated at the ceremony which took place in the farm home of the bride's parents before a background of baskets and bouquests of snapdragons and chrysantemums.

    The bride was attired in a becoming street length gown of ruby colored satinback crepe with embroidered tunic and she wore a corsage of carnations and Talisman roses. Miss Laura Crocker, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. She wore a dress of royal blue crepe, made princess style with a corsage of white baby mums. Grant Ball of Cass City attendeed Mr. Armstrong as Best man.

    The bride's mother was gowned for her daughter's wedding in a navy blue crepe suit with white accessories.

    Immediately following hte wedding, a buffet luncheon was served.

    In the evening an informal reception was held in the Crocker home in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Armstrong where 120 relatives and friends were present and enjoyed a social time. Ice cream, cake and wafers were served. The honor guests received many lovely gifts.

    Guests from out of town at hte wedding were Mrs. Jack Gibbs and two daugbhters Harriet and Rosemond, and son Jack; Mrs. Mary Crocker, Fred Crocker, Mr. and Mrs. Webster Crocker, and Henry Crocker, all of Saginaw; Moiss Pauline Romig of Ubly; Mrs. Gertrude Knechtel of Midland; Mr. and Mrs. Ben Crocker and family of Decker.

    Mr. and Mrs. Armstrong are spending the week with relatives in Detroit.
