Lucella married Leonidas "Lon" Cartwright on 17 Dec 1868 in Sexton, Sabine County, Texas. Leonidas (son of Matthew Cartwright and Amanda "Mandy" Holman) was born on 14 Nov 1842 in Texas; died on 25 Feb 1922 in Terrell, Kaufman County, Texas; was buried in Oakland Memorial Park Cemetery, Terrell, Kaufman County, Texas. Married:
They were married after a a four-year courtship. They moved to the rural home of her deceased parents, farming in partnership with her brother-in-law Dr. Gustavus Hendrick, husband of Ann Ingram. The arrangement led to a quarrel that was settled in court in December 1869, with Lon forced to buy her property for $8,100 (Henson and Parmelee, p. 267). In August, 1870, Lon and Ludie returned to San Augustine from the old Ingram farm in Sexton to help Amanda settle her husband's estate. (ibid, p. 279), moving back to Sexton after they settled Matthew's estate, and back to San Augustine once again in July 1873, when they exchanged properties with Jimmie and Mary Ingram. He hired Judge Oran M. Roberts to secure an amnesty pardon, required due to the value of his personal property, after the conclustion of the Civil War. (Henson and Parmelee, THE CARTWRIGHTS OF SAN AUGUSTINE, p. 252).

William married Ann Bryan on 28 Jun 1838 in Randolph County, Georgia. Ann was born on 11 Dec 1808 in Montgomery County, Georgia; died on 10 Feb 1864 in Sabine County, Texas; was buried in Ingram Cemetery, Sabine County, Texas. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

--She married William Ingram June 28, 1838 in Randolph County, GA. They moved to Texas in 1850.
--Mother of 5 children, she raised also orphaned niece Emeline C. Watts & orphaned nephew James Sidney Bryan.
Inscription:

Henson and Parmelee, in THE CARTWRIGHT FAMILY OF SAN AUGUSTINE, TEXAS also show that Clementine Texas "Tet" Ingram, the older sister of Jimmie Ingram (Mary's husband) and Ludie Cartwright (Lon's wife) married second Carroll Ballard, who was wounded severely in duel with Matthew Cartwright in 1872. (p. 284).
