After living in larger cities, Willie and Lena returned to Rosevine where they enjoy the golden years of their lives.

Willie was born in Anderson County. "Dad was always lookign for something better and we moved quite a bit when I was young, recalled Willie. After living in Lovelady for awhile, he attended school at Lonesome Pine and Timpson. Willied moved to Sabine County when he was 17 years old and graduated from the Pinehill School.

Lena was born and reared in Rosevine, approximately 400 yards from her present home. She was the daughter of J. O and Mattie Boyett. She attended the Rosevine School while Dr. Denton Kerr was superintendent.
