  • Notes  Married:
    • Kathy Casagranda writes that although they were living in Sabine Parish at the time of the 1860 census, they not buried in the Parish. Members of the GOOCH family can be found buried in adjacent Sabine County, Texas, primarily buried in the Hemphill City Cemetery and in Oak Hill Cemetery. In fact, a Clayburn Patrick Gooch, possible a descendant or namesale of the elder C. P. Gooch, was buried in Sabine County, though his year of birth was shown as 1866.
