    • The 9-29-1905 issue of the Cass City Chronicle noted that "Rev. and Mrs. E. Sedweek, formerly of Tecumseh, are visiting relatives here this week. They are on their way to Calument where Mr. Sedweek has been stationed as pastor by the M. E. conference for the coming year."

Bruce McDermott notes that they moved to Los Angeles around 1920.

On 4-19-1940, it was noted in the same paper, in a letter from John H. MOORE, that guests at a dinner party given by his sister included "Rev. and Mrs. Eph SEDWEEK of Los Angeles...Mrs. Sedweek was formerly Miss Effie McDermott of Grant."
