  Married: The Duncan Banner - April 24, 1949 Betty Gentry Bride - Elect of Mansel Daniels The engagement and approaching marriage of Miss Betty Gentry is being announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Gentry, Duncan route 3, to Mansel (Pete) Daniels, son of Mr. and Mrs. E.C. Daniels, Marlow, route 2. The wedding will be an event of June 10 at 7 p.m. in the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Peters, Velma. The bride-elect is a senior at Velma-Alma High School. She will graduate this spring. Mr. Daniels graduated from Velma High School in 1943 and served three years with the U.S. Marines. He is now employed by the Nichols-Duncan Drilling Company.
