      This is Mary Jane (Smethers) Cramer, the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth (Fairchild)Smethers and wife of Adam L. Cramer, the son of Johann Lorentz and Maia "Mary" (Lehman)Cramer. Mary was born June 3, 1845 in Fairfield County, Ohio. Her mother died Feb. 7, 1849 from childbirth in Ohio. Henry and Elizabeth had 2 daus.; Mary Jane, born 1845; and Elizabeth Ann, born in 1849. Mary and Adam's daughter Arabella, married her cousin Charles Reno Smethers, the marriage ending in divorce
