  Married: Gillam's final marriage was to Silvah (Sylvia) HAILS in Sussex on a bond issued December 2, 1813, service performed by Rev. Nathaniel Chambliss, also a Baptist minister (Sussex Marriage Register, pp. 147, 292). Too many wifes may have been his undoing, for within three months of his last marriage he died intestate...he was survived by his last wife, Sylvia and five children plus one "en ventre sa mere."
