Notes	From FindAGrave: John L. Cramer was born May 20, 1888, and died at his home in Manheim Township, May 29, 1945, aged 57 years and 9 days. The Stone Church community was shocked to learn of the sudden and unexpected death of Mr. Cramer. He had attended the Memorial Day services at the Stone Church on Sunday, May 27, and appeared to be in his usual health. Mr. Cramer was a life-long resident of the Stone Church community, a kind husband and father, a respected neighbor and friend. He was a faithful member of the Stone Church Union Sunday School and of the Lutheran congregation. He attended church regularly every Sunday, a devoted friend of both pastors. He was the father of a large family. One of his sons is now overseas in the service of his country. The funeral services were held from the Geiple Funeral Parlor, Glen Rock, Pa., Friday afternoon, June 1, 1945, and concluding services at Stone Church. His pastor, Rev. K. S. Ehrhart, officiated, assisted by Rev. Paul D. Yoder. The latter used as his text Psa. 8:4. Burial was made in the new cemetery at the Stone Church. The Friendly Visitor by Rev. Paul D.
