      Thelma Inez Bass Henderson, 83, of Hemphill, died Friday morning in the Sabine County Hospital in Hemphill. Thelma was born in Hemphill to William Burtis and Sallie Erwin Bass and has lived in Hemphill all her life. Mrs. Henderson owned and operated a book keeping and tax service for forty-seven years in Hemphill. She attended the Pine Park United Pentecostal Church.

      She is survived by her daughter Sherri Eddings and her husband Don of Hemphill, her grandchildren; Devin Eddings of San Antonio and Danielle Eddings of Hemphill, and her brother Norman Bass and his wife Billie Sue of Hemphill. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Margaret Louise Bass and her husband Delbert Henderson.

      Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 9:00PM, Saturday, January 18, 2014, in the Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, Texas. Funeral services will be at 2:00PM, Sunday, January 19, 2014, in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Springhill Cemetery.
