      Eula Mae Wood

      Funeral services for Eula Mae Wood, 95, of Hemphill were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 1, 2007 at Starr Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at Harper's Chapel Cemetery. Rev. Ricky Wood officiated and Gregg Wood did the Eulogy. She died at 3:15 a.m. at the Sabine County Hospital in Hemphill. Eula Mae Wood was born in Sabinetown on June 22, 1011 to Walter FELTS and Lina GOOCH Felts. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hemphill.

      She is survived by her sons, Vilas "Boog" WOOD and wife, Linda of San Augustine and Mike WOOD and wife, Sue Ann of Hemphill; daughter, Lexie Mae McCARTER of Tyler; brother, Shay FELTS of Hemphill; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

      Starr Funeral Home in Hemphill was in charge of arrangements.
