    Notes 
    • Joseph became the owner of his parents farm in 1922. Later his daughter and son-in-law, Agnes and Henry Kassik owned it. Their sons, Ralph and Richard Kassik are the fourth generation to own and farm the land. Joe was a member of the Lodge Svatopluk Chech of Milligan for over 50 years (Milligan, p 299).
