  Notes	Elizabeth Beres shows him as married to Melissa Alice Forse, the daughter of William Henry Fose. Betty Bragg Wagstaff, in her annotated transcription of the Pleasant Grove (Whitehead) Cemetery, shows that Melissa Forse was actually married to William Martin Whitehead, a son of Martin Whitehead and Mary Jane Martin, and not to William Wallac Whitehead, the son of Owen and Mary.
