  Notes	At that time (of the fire of Feb 26, 1918, the Williams) hotel was being managed by County Sheriff Bosco Bright and his wife, Nettie, who was a sister of Sim Williams. They were the parents of Sid Bright. (White and Toole, p 68). Death Roll Mrs. Nettie Bright Hemphill, Dec 5 (spl) - Mr. and Mrs. T. V. Parker were called to Nacogdoches for the funeral of Mrs. Parker's aunt, Mrs. Nettie Bright, 87. Funeral services were held in Cason and Monk Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Neal Cannon, district superintendent Methodist Conference, officiating. He was assisted by the Rev. Mr. Chapman, pastor of First Methodist Church, Nacogdoches. Burial was in a Nacogdoches cemetery. Mrs. Bright was a native of Hemphill and member of a prominent pioneer family.
