- He was married to Ella J. WILLIAMS prior to his marriage to Eva COLLINS. According to Caryn Getsinger, he was of a heavyset build. He worked in the Kirby Lumber Yard in Bronson, Texas in 1925, and later was a fireman for Humble Oil (Exxon). When he became ill he went to Houston for Medical care, but was turned away because he was no longer a resident. He was later hospitalized with a bloated stomach.
