  Notes	The son of Joseph HROMADKA and Katirna HLAVOTA. He was orphaned at the age of six, and cared for by relatives. He was conscripted into the Austrian-Hungarian army, and moved to America 1902 to avoid further service in that army. He worked in the coal mines in Moravia. (Milligan, p 311).
