Interment was in Fenders cemetery under direction of Warren Funeral Home. Pallbearers were grandsons of Mrs. Blackwell. Surviving relatives include: sons, Walter L. of Deridder, Willie. O. E. and Jim of Many; daughters, Mrs. Audie McComic and Mrs. Pearl McComic of Zwolle, Mrs Vivian Hardin, Mrs. Cardie Taylor and Mrs. Ida Stevens of Shreveport: brothers, Pate Alford of Many; sister Mrs Bessie Kilburn of Pineland, Texas; and 31 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
