She was raised in Trenton,TN and spent most of her adult life in the Cicero, IL area. Coma was married to Clarence A. Haugh in 1939. After Clarence passed away in 1957, she married James Phillip Kearney in 1958. She worked at Hotpoint in Cicero for many years. Coma was the loving mother of two daughters; Carolyn Andrews and Pauline Mitchell; and grandmother of 5. She passed away, much too young, at the age of 44.
